We use MJ BaseStation™ automated sequencers as our primary platform, for high throughput, long reads, and extraordinary accuracy. Based upon ultra-thin slab gel technology for ultra-high speeds, these versatile instruments can sequence 96 samples in under an hour. The unique patented optics of the BaseStation™ are extremely precise and sensitive, generating high-quality data for long reads, while also allowing large savings on sequencing reagents. Robotic automated sample loading minimizes handling, preventing costly errors. No other commercial platform matches the BaseStation™ for this combination of accuracy and throughput. For projects with smaller sample numbers, the Long Read Tower from VGI provides us with true flexibility.
