A TOUCH OF SPANISH FLAIR!
Practical and stylish furniture for the laboratory
GRI brings continental style to laboratory design with its range
of laboratory furniture from the Spanish company Flores Valles.
Complying with the most demanding of European Quality Standards,
this range of laboratory furniture has been designed to be attractive
as well as functional.
A wide product range includes; desks, cabinets, glass display
cabinets and benching for a wide variety of specific applications.
In each case design and finish reflects the proposed use. Balance
benches, for example, are designed to cushion external vibrations
so enabling greater accuracy.
There are different types of bench construction available: suspended
(allowing flexible use of space), plinth mounted (for heavy duty
and large capacity) or mobile units with spin castors and a brake
system.
Manufactured using a cold-laminated steel carcass with an organic
covering of epoxy polyester resin, Flores Valles laboratory furniture
is tough and long lasting. The epoxy coating is completely unaffected
by all types of wet conditions and withstands both chemical attack
and bacterial infection. A variety of worktops are available including
compact laminates such as Trespa (a heat resistant resin), vitrified
ceramic, polished granite, Durcon (epoxy resin), stainless steel
and postformed melamine.
Complete stainless steel construction is also available for laboratories
where maximum cleanliness and health safety standards are required,
such as in the handling of food or radioactive materials. Manufactured
with a thickness of 1.5mm with reinforcement rods these units
provide outstanding strength and endurance.
All utility and service lines are channelled through the inside
of the furniture and are easily accessible for maintenance.
Modular in design, individual items of Flores Valles laboratory
furniture can be easily added to an existing laboratory layout
as well as forming the basis for a completely new laboratory design
or laboratory refit. GRI's skilled Contract Services Team will
be pleased to help with laboratory design and planning to the
highest specifications.
