ImaGene-Lite™ MICRO ARRAY QUANTITATION FOR ALL!

New software using predefined templates for each type and brand of array

Especially designed for laboratories that use commercially available prefabricated arrays, BioDiscovery's new ImaGene-Lite™ array quantification software is now available from GRI's Gene Screening Division.

ImaGene-Lite uses a predefined template for a specified brand and type of array so making it easy for users to set up spot finding. New templates can be added at any time to suit membrane or slide arrays from most DNA chip manufacturers including Clontech® Atlas, Research Genetics® GeneFilters®, NEN™ Micromax and Incyte™ LifeGrid™.

When required, the software can be easily upgraded to allow researchers to define their own customised array grids. A laboratory can extend its expression array methods without having to buy additional software!

With advanced image processing, ImaGene-Lite incorporates multiple methods for identifying and normalising background noise and displays exactly which pixels are being used for calculations. The relative intensity and alignment of individual channels can be visualised quickly and differences in channel intensities can be easily controlled using ImaGene-Lite's normalisation algorithms.

For full flexibility in analysis and presentation, data from ImaGene-Lite can be exported to any data analysis tool. It is even possible to access the Internet direct from ImaGene-Lite for immediate access to additional information on spots.
