INNOVATIS JOIN GRI'S RANGE OF SOLE
UK AGENCIES
GRI have now signed a sole UK agency agreement with Innovatis
GmbH, manufacturers of a range of sophisticated and innovative
cell analysis systems. The addition of Innovatis to GRI's range
of sole UK agencies provides UK laboratories access to the latest
in cell counting technology.
"A passion for analysis" is the motto that has driven
Innovatis in the development of it's CEDEX technology. The CEDEX
system is the flagship product from Innovatis and offers new and
innovative solutions in cell culture analysis. CEDEX offers an
integrated analysis system for automatic cell density and viability
determination, which increases the productivity of laboratories
as well as the objectivity and precision of analysis results.
Innovatis' CEDEX system has successfully established the automation
of cell counting on the basis of well-established trypan blue
staining techniques. The use of trypan blue is key to the acceptance
of CEDEX by laboratory staff within labs where routine cell analysis
is a major function.
In addition to CEDEX, Innovatis plan to release the Cell Screen
system to the UK market later this year, which for the first time,
would carry out measurements on unstained suspension cultures
in their culture vessels. Cell Screen has been in research and
development for the last four years and on it's release will allow
researchers to study culture dynamics and progression in time
series.
The Innovatis range of products offer opportunities for new analysis
strategies in biotechnology, medicine and pharmaceutics lab for
all aspects of cellular testing procedures. This level of commitment
to providing instruments specifically designed for cell analysis
puts Innovatis in a class of their own.
GRI's knowledge and experience in cell culture laboratories is
well established. The inclusion of Innovatis and their range of
products to GRI's instrumentation portfolio provides scientist
with the very latest in cutting edge cell analysis systems that
will prove to be of true benefit in all aspects of their cellular
research.
